The client purchased a 1990’s contemporary home set on the pristine, marshy banks of the Piscataqua River in Rye, NH. Our mission was to reinvent the front facade of the house. We responded by subtracting and simplifiying - discovering a balanced aesthetic that better matches the local vernacular and draws attention to the formal entrance and centerpiece of the composition.
